If you require the Embassy to issue you travel documents, you must provide the following:

• Attention!!! The travel document is a one-way document that only goes to Burundi!!

1. A signed request letter (mention your current address, telephone number and email)
2. A passport photo, on a white background
3. A photocopy of the National Identity Card/Copy of the expired Burundian passport
4. A Complete Identity Certificate
5. a round-trip ticket
6. A non-refundable money order/certified check for $50.00 (per document if different documents) payable to the Embassy of Burundi
7. Prepaid return envelope
